As everyone else was going to college and I was here doing my own thang, I felt at many times that I was behind in life. That I might not get anywhere in life because they seemed to have it all together more than I did at the moment. Or at least they appeared to.
That was SO FAR from the truth.
I am now here feeling so fulfilled in my business, while many of those people are living hella stressed and confused if they are doing the right thing.
At times, it can be difficult, feeling alone in your journey as you pursue whatever it may be, and it can be so easy to compare to other people and where they are or where they are going.
But lemme tell ya, it is a HUGE waste of your time and everyone else's. You are not only wasting your time, you are wasting the time of the people who need you.
Comparison is a thief that will do nothing but leave you feeling defeated and depleted.
When the success of others starts to distract you, take a step back and learn to celebrate them and use them as motivation and inspiration.
If their success caught your attention, see what they are doing that is working, honor that hard word and apply it yourself!
Their success does not have to be something that is in your way or that means you are any less than.
They are in their OWN LANE. You are in YOUR OWN LANE.
AND guess what?! The people that NEED you are not going to be in that person's lane. NO, YOUR people are waiting on YOU because they NEED YOU.
Someone else's success does NOT mean you are any less. Doesn't mean you are behind. AND most importantly doesn't mean there isn’t any room left for you.
Stop dattt. You deserve success as much as anyone else.
Get your blinders on and get out there!! Choose to keep moving even when your mind plays these tricks on you. Fight back and get your booty moving.
