Okay, don’t freak out, don’t freak out. Breathe, breathhhhh.
I know the title can cause some anxiety because you might already feel like you aren’t doing enough. Calm it down. Let me explain.
This doesn’t have to mean some crazy project. “Starting now” will mean something different to everyone.
We all have those thoughts that tell us we aren’t worthy of writing that book, or being in the olympics or whatever it may be. AND BOY, is that so far from the truth. You are worthy to start whatever it may be.
Whatever you think of first as you read through or as you watch the video, DO NOT IGNORE. Even if it’s small, it must have some importance for it to be coming up.
Now that your brain is aathinking, let’s get to the good stuff.
Okay, what are you doing daily?
Do you even feel comfortable answering that? Or happy with your answer?
What do you want your answer to be, realistically?
Is what you are doing daily anything close to what you would like your answer to be? Does it even feel in reach?
DON’T skip over these questions. They REALLY put in perspective how much a shift might be needed.
Take a day to write out everything you do and how long it took you to do every one of those things. This will help you see where you are wasting time and could be taking action and will help to see all the ‘stuff’ that might be really unneeded in your day to day.
When I took the time to do this, it really put in perspective how much I was overworking myself doing a whole lot of stuff that wasn’t really getting much of anywhere and just leaving me tired. There was no life giving activities and that explained why I was left feeling burnt out daily.
If you see your day to day and you don’t feel accomplished in any of it, that will continue to happen until you decide to start incorporating something daily that moves the needle. Until you START NOW on what you feel nudged to do.
The easiest way to do this is to go grab a notecard, draw a line in the middle and on the right side write at least 3 things you can do that day to move the needle per say or that fill up your cup. It could be texting that friend, writing that blog post, or taking your dog to the park etc. On the left side, write down the things that have to get done but aren’t really action steps, like washing the dishes, getting the mail etc.
Start doing this notecard activity daily and watch how refreshing it becomes to lean into those nudges you have and work on them daily.
You might be thinking this topic is just TOO broad, but lemme tell you, you know more than anyone does on what this topic means to you personally.
That nudge you’re feeling, LISTEN to it.
You have the resources to get you started.
I know it can be scary and intimidating but you aren’t doing it alone.
Message me here and I can walk you through all the nooks & crannies.
Like I said, you can’t expect the change you desire to ever happen if you aren’t starting now on whatever you feel nudged to do.
We are only getting older. Start now while you can.
